Tunezies: Vol 1 - The Album

Set for release on August 29, 2025, Tunezies: Vol. 1 marks the joyful beginning of a bold new musical world created by award-winning artist, educator, and mom Jesse Palter. As the first release in an original early music education curriculum, Tunezies nurtures not only foundational musical skills, but also emotional awareness, creativity, and self-expression—all through the lens of music education and imaginative play.

The Vision Behind Tunezies

Rooted in Jesse's lived experience as both a professional musician and a parent, Tunezies was born out of a desire to fill the gap in music-forward, developmentally aligned content for today’s families. This project was made possible by a grant from the prestigious South Arts Jazz Road Creative Residency, which recognized Jesse’s unique contribution to children’s music and her innovative blend of artistry and education.

Each song in Vol. 1 introduces young listeners to essential musical concepts—beat, rhythm, tempo, dynamics, melody, and harmony—in ways that feel exciting, engaging, and never watered down Tunezies: Vol. 1 is a celebration of the emotional world of children, helping them explore how they feel, move their bodies, and imagine new possibilities.

The Making of the Album

Produced by Jon Cowherd and Jesse Palter and recorded at Marigny Studios in New Orleans, Tunezies: Vol. 1 features a powerhouse band of greats:

Set in the magical musical world of Tuneztopia, these shows will bring the music to life in a spectacular, multi-sensory way—inviting children and their grown-ups to sing, move, feel, and imagine together.
